Tutorials

PC Experts technicians report that some of their most satisfying work includes leading customer tutorials.  Customers frequently have questions about how to perform anything from the most basic computer functions to complicated database or hardware design tasks.  Our technicians are happy to sit down with customers, either at home or in our office, and teach them how to do whatever it is they need.  Customers often enjoy emailing their questions and needs ahead of time so that technicians can prepare in advance for their tutorial.

For basic tutorials, rates are $40/hour for one or two people and $50/hour for three to five participants; advanced topics may incur additional fees.  We are also happy to host workshops or seminars for larger groups.

In the past, we have enjoyed making presentations for senior citizen groups.  We are available to provide such classes as a community service given ample time to prepare.  We are also happy to work with local schools to provide workshops for students, parents, and teachers.

Seeing Virus Warnings?

Viruses have changed.  Most of the infections we now see are not really viruses at all, but malicious software which enters your computer through advertisements on web pages you visit.

Many of these pretend to be Anti-Virus programs, or System Clean-Up utilities, but their effects are damaging, and they are difficult to remove.

If your legitimate antivirus product does not remove such an infection, PC Experts can help.
